What is Remote Doodle?
Draw online and bid for a small spot on a shared physical sheet. A real pen plotter draws the winning doodle, with a YouTube camera feed so you can watch.
What am I paying for?
The winning bid buys one drawing in the spot shown on the canvas. It does not include mailing, ownership of the original sheet, guaranteed publicity, or a permanent uncensored display.
How do bids and payments work?
The highest funded bid at the round deadline wins. Cards use a Square authorization hold; Bitcoin Lightning uses a hold invoice. Only the winner is charged. Losing holds are canceled; release timing depends on the bank or wallet. Creating an unpaid invoice does not enter a bid. The current minimum and amount are shown before payment.
When will my drawing happen?
A winning drawing joins the pen’s queue. Empty rounds reopen without using a spot. Physical work and the video stream can be delayed by connectivity, maintenance, or paper changes.
Can my drawing be censored?
Yes. The operator may reject, hide, remove, or censor submissions at their discretion, including obscene, hateful, threatening, unlawful, infringing, or otherwise unsuitable content. A diagonal CENSORED stamp may be drawn directly over your artwork on paper. The original ink remains underneath. Censored website previews are covered by default; visitors can choose Reveal to view the original. Recordings, photographs, and archives may still show it. Paying does not guarantee an uncensored display.
Can I upload a logo or type text?
Yes. Use the canvas tools to turn text or an image into pen outlines. Check the preview before bidding and submit only content you have permission to use. The pen draws black outlines, not a full-color print.
What if my drawing fails or looks incomplete?
Contact support@remotedoodle.com with your bid details. The operator can review the job and may redraw it in the same spot or arrange an appropriate refund. Do not pay again to report a fault. Moderation alone does not automatically trigger a refund; mandatory consumer rights still apply.
Is my name public?
Your chosen name, funded bid amount, and completed drawing may appear publicly. The sheet is filmed and may be photographed and shared. Use a handle and keep private information out of your artwork.
