What we handle

We handle the name or handle you submit, your drawing, bid amounts, order and payment identifiers, payment status, and timestamps. Hosting and security logs may contain IP addresses, request details, and device/browser information. Support emails contain whatever you choose to send us.

What becomes public

Your chosen name, funded bid, and drawing can be public. The physical sheet is livestreamed and may be photographed, archived, and shared. Do not include sensitive information. Censored digital previews are covered by default and can be revealed by the viewer; the original drawing is retained. Existing recordings are not automatically removed.

Payments and third parties

Square’s secure fields collect card details directly; Remote Doodle’s server receives a payment token and transaction information, not the card number or security code. Bitcoin Lightning payments are handled through our Lightning infrastructure and payment providers. Our hosting providers deliver the site and API. Embedded YouTube video and Google-hosted fonts contact Google and may process browser or network information under their own policies.

Browser storage

We use browser storage for your drawing draft, session identifier, and payment/order recovery, plus temporary interface state. Clearing it may remove your local draft and receipt access. Third-party embeds and payment tools may use their own cookies or storage.

Why and how long

We use these records to run auctions, process payments, draw orders, prevent abuse, diagnose faults, and provide support. Payment, security, and support records are kept as needed for those purposes and legal obligations; public artwork and archives may remain longer. We do not promise automatic deletion on a fixed schedule.

Your choices

Use a handle, avoid private information in drawings, and email support@remotedoodle.com to request access, correction, or removal of information associated with your order. We may need to verify the request and retain records required for security, disputes, or law. We cannot erase ink or recall third-party copies or public recordings.

Third-party policies: Square · Google / YouTube.
